Do I need technical skills to set up the NerdQaxe++ Rev6?
No. It's plug-and-play. Connect the power supply, join its Wi-Fi hotspot, enter your Bitcoin wallet address in the AxeOS dashboard, and you're mining in minutes. No command line or coding required.
What are the realistic chances of finding a Bitcoin block solo mining?
Solo mining is a lottery — odds per device are small against the full network hashrate, but the reward is the entire block (currently 3.125 BTC). With 6 TH/s you get roughly 10–12× better odds than a single-chip Bitaxe. A solo miner won Block #920,440 in January 2025 using six NerdQaxe++ units.
How loud is the NerdQaxe++ Rev6 during operation?
At stock settings (~70W), it's barely audible. Even overclocked, noise levels remain comfortable for a bedroom or office — far quieter than traditional ASIC miners.
Can it mine other cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin?
Yes. It mines any SHA-256 cryptocurrency: Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Fractal Bitcoin, and more. Just change the pool address in AxeOS settings.
What power supply do I need, and how much electricity will it cost?
A 124W PSU is included — no extra purchase needed. At stock the miner draws ~70W; overclocked ~100W. That's comparable to a standard light bulb. At an average EU electricity rate of €0.25/kWh, running 24/7 costs roughly €18/month at full load.
