COOLING WITHOUT THE LIGHT SHOW
Quiet-minded cooling for a carefully fitted CPU build
Pure Loop 3 240mm combines a refillable liquid-cooling loop with two Pure Wings 3 PWM fans and a restrained black finish. Compare our CPU coolers and plan the surrounding components before choosing a radiator location. This is the 240mm BW027EU model, not the 360mm version or an illuminated LX variant.
Where this product makes sense
A clean workstation interior
The black pump/block and non-illuminated fans suit a restrained build. No ARGB controller, lighting hub or RGB performance benefit is implied.
Control fan and pump speed separately
The pump uses a 4-pin PWM connection and a 3000–5500rpm adjustment range. The fans are rated up to 2100rpm; motherboard header limits and control curves still matter.
Plan clearance in three dimensions
A case labelled for 240mm cooling is only a starting point. Allow the actual 277 × 120 × 52mm radiator-and-fan assembly plus tube routing, connector space and adjacent RAM/VRM clearance.
Compatibility and limits
- Included mounts support Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA1150/1151/1155 and AMD AM4/AM5. Do not assume support for Threadripper, TR5 or unrelated server sockets.
- Use the instructions and the correct platform brackets/backplate. A matching socket does not guarantee every case or motherboard layout has sufficient clearance.
- Radiator body is 277 × 120 × 27mm; installed radiator plus fans is 277 × 120 × 52mm. The block is 93.4 × 68.5 × 44.9mm and tube length is 400mm.
- Provide appropriate 4-pin PWM headers or a correctly rated controller. Keep total current within the header/controller limits; do not infer unlimited fan daisy-chain capacity.
- Noise figures are manufacturer test ratings, not a guarantee in a closed case. CPU power limits, ambient temperature, airflow and pump/fan curves determine actual temperatures and acoustics.
- The refill port supports maintenance under the manufacturer instructions. A bottle of coolant is not listed in the included accessory set; never open or modify the loop outside the approved procedure.

What is included

Six useful answers before ordering
Is BW027EU the 240mm or 360mm version?
BW027EU is Pure Loop 3 240mm, with two 120mm fans. It is not the 360mm model or an LX lighting variant.
Will it fit my AM5 or LGA1700 build?
Both sockets are in the supported mounting list. You must also check motherboard clearance, case radiator space and the correct mounting instructions; socket support alone is not a fit guarantee.
How much radiator clearance is needed?
Allow at least the actual 277 × 120 × 52mm radiator-and-fan assembly, plus tube bends and connectors. A nominal 240mm case mount does not by itself prove the complete assembly fits.
Does it have RGB lighting?
No LED illumination is specified for this model. The accessory list does not include an ARGB controller or lighting hub.
Is it refillable, and is coolant included?
There is a refill port. Use only the manufacturer’s maintenance procedure; the published accessory list does not include a bottle of coolant.
What warranty applies?
The product has 24-month commercial coverage, while eligible original end customers have a separate 3-year be quiet! manufacturer’s warranty under its terms. Keep the original receipt and serial label; statutory rights remain unaffected.
