Will it work in an ordinary DDR5 desktop motherboard?

Do not assume so. This is registered ECC DDR5 (RDIMM). Check explicit RDIMM support and the exact module part number in your motherboard or system memory support list.

Is DDR5 on-die ECC the same as registered ECC memory?

No. This module has on-die ECC and an x80 ECC organisation. Do not treat the presence of on-die ECC in another DDR5 product as evidence that it is interchangeable with this RDIMM.

Will the module always run at 6400 MT/s?

The module is rated at 6400 MT/s. The CPU memory controller, BIOS, motherboard and installed DIMM population determine the operating rate. Verify the supported configuration before ordering.

Can this RAM increase the VRAM of my graphics card?
