Description pour: Kit mémoire Patriot Viper Venom 32Go (2×16Go) DDR5-6000 CL30
VIPER VENOM · 2 × 16 GB · DDR5-6000 · CL30
Low-latency 32 GB DDR5 for AM5 builds.
Two 16 GB Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 modules tested at 6000 MT/s with CL30 timings, with Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO support. The matte black, non-RGB heat spreader suits a clean workstation build.
32 GB (2 × 16 GB) · 6000 MT/s CL30-40-40-76 · 1.35 V · XMP 3.0 + EXPO
Where it fits
Two modules populate both memory channels of an AM5 processor, giving 32 GB of system memory for development tools, containers, data preparation, editing and multitasking alongside a dedicated graphics card. At 6000 MT/s, CL30 corresponds to a CAS latency of 10 ns, compared with 12 ns for CL36 kits at the same speed.
System memory is not graphics memory: AI models that run on the GPU use the card’s own VRAM, while CPU-side inference or large in-memory datasets need more than 32 GB.
Compatibility before checkout
Suits the AM5 boards in our range, the ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi, MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi and ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi, which take unbuffered DDR5 DIMMs. Patriot lists the kit as qualified on platforms including AMD X870E and B850 at chipset level; listing on each board’s own memory QVL was not verified.
The product data of the Ryzen 9 9950X and 9900X lists DDR5 memory speeds of up to 5600 MT/s. The 6000 MT/s profile runs the memory above that rating, so stability depends on the individual processor, board and BIOS version; if a system is unstable, return to the default memory settings.
This kit is non-ECC: DDR5’s on-die ECC works inside each memory chip and is not the system-level ECC of ECC UDIMMs. The modules are 43 mm high; compare this with your cooler maker’s memory-height clearance.
Memory profiles and first start
Out of the box the kit runs at the JEDEC default of DDR5-4800 CL40-40-40-77 at 1.1 V, which any DDR5 board can start. Patriot tests the kit at 6000 MT/s with 30-40-40-76 timings at 1.35 V and supports Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO; on AM5 boards, select the EXPO profile in the BIOS memory settings.
Update the motherboard BIOS before changing memory settings. The first start after installing new DDR5 memory can take longer than usual while the board trains the memory.

Frequently asked questions
Is this ECC memory?
No. It is non-ECC unbuffered DDR5. On-die ECC corrects errors inside each DRAM chip only; system-level ECC needs ECC UDIMMs and a board and processor that support them.
Will it run at 6000 MT/s automatically?
No. It starts at the JEDEC default of 4800 MT/s. Select the EXPO profile (or XMP on Intel boards) in the BIOS. 6000 MT/s is above the 5600 MT/s listed for our Ryzen 9 processors, so stability can vary by system.
How does CL30 compare with CL36?
At 6000 MT/s, CL30 corresponds to a CAS latency of 10 ns and CL36 to 12 ns. The other timings and the application decide how much of that difference shows up in practice.
Which Mineshop processors and boards does it suit?
The Ryzen 9 9950X and 9900X with the ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi, MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi or ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi, which all use unbuffered DDR5. Check your board’s memory QVL for this exact kit.
Can I add a second kit for 64 GB?
Two separate kits are not a tested matched set, and filling all four slots typically means running the memory slower than with two modules. If you need more than 32 GB, choose a single kit of the capacity you need.
Plan your complete build
Pair it with a Ryzen 9 9950X or Ryzen 9 9900X and an AM5 board such as the ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi, MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi or ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi. Browse our memory, computer components and AI workstation range.
