Efficiëntie (J/TH)
The De belangrijkste maatstaf. Lager J/TH betekent minder stroom per hash. Moderne topminer draaien op 13–16 J/TH. Oudere modellen op 30+ J/TH zijn zelden winstgevend, tenzij stroom zeer goedkoop is.
Stroomverbruik
Huishoudelijke groepen kunnen doorgaans 3.500–5.000W aan. De meeste thuisminers verbruiken maximaal 3.600W op een 16A groep bij 230V. Controleer altijd uw zekeringcapaciteit voor bestelling.
Geluidsniveau
Industriële miners draaien op 70–80 dB — zo luid als een stofzuiger. Thuisminers zoals de Avalon Q en Nano 3S werken op 35–55 dB, ontworpen voor stille woonomgevingen.
Stroomtarief
EU-gemiddelde is €0,25–0,35/kWh. Alleen de meest efficiënte moderne miners (S21 XP, S21+) zijn winstgevend bij deze tarieven. Industriële/hernieuwbare tarieven onder €0,12 bieden sterke marges.
Doel-Algoritme
SHA-256 (Bitcoin) is verreweg het meest winstgevende algoritme. Kaspa (KAS) en Litecoin (Scrypt) zijn populaire alternatieven. Elk algoritme vereist eigen ASIC-hardware.
