Description for: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB – 360 mm AIO CPU Liquid Cooler (Black)
ARCTIC · LIQUID FREEZER III PRO 360 A-RGB · 360 MM AIO · AM5 / LGA1851
360 mm liquid cooling for AM5 workstation builds.
An all-in-one CPU liquid cooler with a 38 mm thick 360 mm radiator, three P12 Pro A-RGB fans, a PWM-controlled pump and an integrated VRM fan on the pump head. ARCTIC’s offset mounting shifts the cold plate towards the CPU hotspot on AM5 and LGA1851.
398 × 120 × 38 mm radiator · 3 × 120 mm fans, 600–3,000 rpm · pump 800–2,800 rpm · 6-year warranty
Where it fits
Our AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and 9900X are OEM processors supplied without a cooler, so every build around them needs one. This AIO supports AM5 and carries the heat to a 360 mm radiator mounted at the top or front of the case, so there is no large heatsink tower above the socket.
The integrated VRM fan on the pump head moves air across the area around the CPU socket, and ARCTIC uses a 38 mm thick radiator where it describes 27 mm as conventional.
ARCTIC does not publish TDP ratings for its coolers. In ARCTIC’s own AM5 test, a Ryzen 9 7950X drawing about 210 W in Prime95 Small FFT reached 84.2 °C with the cooler at full speed and 24 °C ambient temperature. Your temperatures depend on the processor, case airflow, room temperature and fan settings.
Compatibility before checkout
Sockets: Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700, AMD AM5 and AM4. On AM5, ARCTIC’s quick-start guide shows the motherboard’s stock retention brackets removed, the four supplied spacers placed on the existing mounting points and the left and right AMD clips screwed on.
Motherboards in our range, per ARCTIC’s Liquid Freezer III Pro compatibility list (checked 2 October 2026): the MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi and the ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi are listed as fully compatible. For the ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi, ARCTIC notes that the board’s pre-installed M.2_1 heatsink interferes with the pump body; ARCTIC offers a suitable replacement M.2 heatsink free of charge on request, with the motherboard invoice as proof of purchase.
Case space: the radiator measures 398 × 120 × 38 mm. ARCTIC specifies at least 63 mm of clearance for radiator and fans, and its drawing dimensions the stack at 66 mm, so plan for about 66 mm. In the Lian Li Lancool III, Lian Li lists 360 mm radiator support at the top (up to 75 mm total thickness) and at the front, where the limit depends on the bracket position; choose a front position rated 80 mm or 100 mm.
The tubes are 450 mm long. ARCTIC’s manual recommends keeping the radiator above the pump; a radiator mounted below the pump risks bubbling noise.
Connecting the pump, fans and lighting
Two PWM cables are supplied. The all-in-one cable runs the pump, VRM fan and radiator fans from one 4-pin header and reports the pump speed; the individual-control cable splits them across three 4-pin headers. ARCTIC asks for the headers to be set to PWM mode.
ARCTIC rates the pump at 0.35 A, the VRM fan at 0.05 A and each radiator fan at 0.33 A, about 1.4 A in total on the all-in-one cable. Use a header rated for that load, such as CPU_FAN1 (2 A) or PUMP_SYS1 (3 A) on the MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi or CPU_FAN2 (3 A) on the ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi. The ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi rates each fan and pump header at 1 A, so use the individual-control cable there.
The fans and the VRM fan module light up through a 5 V 3-pin A-RGB connector for a motherboard A-RGB header; ARCTIC warns against connecting it to a 12 V RGB header. All three motherboards in our range have 5 V addressable RGB headers. No separate lighting controller is included.
Ownership and warranty
ARCTIC describes the cooler as maintenance-free.
ARCTIC grants a 6-year manufacturer warranty that starts on delivery. Claims need the original proof of purchase, and the manufacturer warranty does not affect your statutory rights against the seller.

Frequently asked questions
Does it fit the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and 9900X?
Both are AM5 processors, and ARCTIC lists AM5 support with its AMD offset mounting kit. Our Ryzen 9 processors are OEM versions supplied without a cooler. ARCTIC does not publish a TDP rating; its own AM5 test figures are quoted above.
Will it fit the ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi?
Not as delivered: ARCTIC lists a conflict between this board’s pre-installed M.2_1 heatsink and the pump body. ARCTIC offers a suitable replacement M.2 heatsink free of charge on request (motherboard invoice required). The MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi and the ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi are listed as fully compatible.
Where should the radiator go in a Lian Li Lancool III?
Lian Li supports 360 mm radiators at the top (up to 75 mm total thickness) and at the front, where the limit depends on the bracket position. Allow about 66 mm for radiator and fans, and keep the radiator above the pump as ARCTIC recommends.
Which fan header should I use?
A 4-pin header set to PWM mode. On the all-in-one cable the cooler draws up to about 1.4 A according to ARCTIC’s ratings, so choose a header rated for that, or use the individual-control cable across three headers.
Does it need maintenance or refilling?
No. ARCTIC describes the Liquid Freezer III Pro as maintenance-free.
