The Avalon A15eHA-425T is Canaan's water-cooled SHA-256 ASIC miner in a 2U chassis for 19-inch racks. Canaan rates it at 425 TH/s and 7800 W at the wall, with 19.5 J/TH efficiency. A closed coolant loop takes the heat off the hashboards, so the miner runs without fans and most of its power leaves as warm water that you can reuse.

It mines Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin SV (BSV) on any SHA-256 pool and suits hydro racks, mining containers and heat-reuse projects, from greenhouses to home and building heating.

Q: Can the A15eHA run with air cooling?
No. It is a liquid-cooled 2U server without fans and needs a coolant loop with a pump and a dry cooler, cooling tower or heat exchanger, for example in a hydro rack or mining container.

Q: Can I use it to heat my home?
Yes, with the right installation. Most of the 7800 W it draws leaves the miner as heat in the coolant, which a heat exchanger can pass on to a heating system or hot water tank. It needs a closed coolant loop and a power circuit sized for about 7800 W per unit, so have both planned by a qualified installer. For a larger heat demand, several units can share one loop.
