FURY BEAST BLACK · 2 × 16 GB · DDR5-6000 · CL36
Low-profile 32 GB DDR5 for AM5 builds.
Two single-rank 16 GB Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 modules with AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles for 6000 MT/s at CL36. The black heat spreader is 34.9 mm high, a useful figure when checking clearance under a large air cooler.
32 GB (2 × 16 GB) · 6000 MT/s CL36-44-44 · 1.35 V · EXPO + XMP 3.0
Where it fits
Two modules populate both memory channels of an AM5 processor, giving 32 GB of system memory for development tools, containers, data preparation, editing and multitasking alongside a dedicated graphics card.
System memory is not graphics memory: AI models that run on the GPU use the card’s own VRAM, while CPU-side inference or large in-memory datasets need more than 32 GB.
Compatibility before checkout
Suits the AM5 boards in our range, the ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi, MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi and ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi, which take unbuffered DDR5 DIMMs. Install the two modules in the slots the board manual recommends for two DIMMs.
The product data of the Ryzen 9 9950X and 9900X lists DDR5 memory speeds of up to 5600 MT/s. The 6000 MT/s EXPO profile runs the memory above that rating, so stability depends on the individual processor, board and BIOS version; the kit’s 5600 MT/s profile is the fallback.
This kit is non-ECC. DDR5’s on-die ECC works inside each memory chip and is not the system-level ECC of ECC UDIMMs. Listing of this exact kit on these boards’ memory QVLs was not verified; check the QVL for your board before ordering.
Memory profiles and first start
Out of the box the kit runs at the JEDEC default of DDR5-4800 CL40-39-39 at 1.1 V, which any DDR5 board can start. Kingston programs two EXPO and two XMP 3.0 profiles: 6000 MT/s CL36-44-44 at 1.35 V and 5600 MT/s CL40-40-40 at 1.25 V. On AM5 boards, select the EXPO profile in the BIOS memory settings.
Update the motherboard BIOS before changing memory settings. The first start after installing new DDR5 memory can take longer than usual while the board trains the memory.

Frequently asked questions
Is this ECC memory?
No. It is non-ECC unbuffered DDR5. On-die ECC corrects errors inside each DRAM chip only; system-level ECC needs ECC UDIMMs and a board and processor that support them.
Will it run at 6000 MT/s automatically?
No. It starts at the JEDEC default of 4800 MT/s. Select the EXPO profile (or XMP on Intel boards) in the BIOS. 6000 MT/s is above the 5600 MT/s listed for our Ryzen 9 processors, so stability can vary by system; the 5600 MT/s profile is the fallback.
Which Mineshop processors and boards does it suit?
The Ryzen 9 9950X and 9900X with the ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi, MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi or ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi, which all use unbuffered DDR5. Check your board’s memory QVL for this exact kit.
Can I add a second kit for 64 GB?
Two separate kits are not a tested matched set, and filling all four slots typically means running the memory slower than with two modules. If you need more than 32 GB, choose a single kit of the capacity you need.
Will it fit under a large air cooler?
The modules are 34.9 mm high including the heat spreader. Compare this with the cooler maker’s memory-height clearance for your board before ordering.
Plan your complete build
Pair it with a Ryzen 9 9950X or Ryzen 9 9900X and an AM5 board such as the ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi, MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi or ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi. Browse our memory, computer components and AI workstation range.
