Platform and fit checklist

• Desktop DDR5 UDIMM (unbuffered, non-registered). It will not work in DDR4 boards or in servers that require registered RDIMM memory.
• On-die ECC is a DDR5 internal feature; this is not side-band ECC memory for workstation/server ECC operation.
• Kit of two 16GB modules for dual-channel operation. Install in the slots your motherboard manual recommends for two DIMMs.
• The rated 6400 MT/s CL32 needs the Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profile enabled in BIOS; without it the kit runs at JEDEC default speed. Achievable speed depends on the CPU memory controller and board.

Is this one module or a two-module kit?

You receive a kit of two 16GB modules, 32GB in total. Both modules are matched and tested together by GOODRAM.

Will it run at the rated speed out of the box?

Not automatically. Enable the Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profile in BIOS to reach DDR5-6400 CL32; otherwise the modules start at a lower JEDEC default speed.

Does it work in a server or workstation that needs ECC RDIMM?

No. These are unbuffered desktop DDR5 modules. Platforms that require registered ECC memory need RDIMM modules instead.

Is this kit compatible with DDR4 motherboards?

No. DDR5 modules are keyed differently and only fit DDR5 desktop motherboards. Check that your board and CPU support DDR5 UDIMM.

Can I add a second kit for 64GB?

Often yes, but four DDR5 modules usually run at lower speed than two, and mixed kits are not validated together. A single 64GB kit is the safer choice.

Can this RAM increase the VRAM of my graphics card?

No. System memory and GPU memory are separate. More RAM helps host workloads and multitasking but does not let the GPU load a larger model.
