The Whatsminer M70S is an air-cooled SHA-256 ASIC miner from MicroBT's M70 generation. MicroBT rates it at 226–258 TH/s with 13.5 J/TH and 3140–3500 W on the wall, running on a standard 220–240 V supply.

It keeps the familiar Whatsminer air-cooled chassis: 430 × 155 × 226 mm, 12.6 kg packed, a built-in power supply and Ethernet. No water loop or immersion tank is needed, so it suits mining farms, containers and hosted sites with air-cooled rows. It mines Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin SV (BSV) on any SHA-256 pool.

Q: What power supply does the M70S need?
A single AC 220–240 V circuit and an IEC C19 power cable rated for at least 16 A. The power supply is built in. Plan for up to about 3500 W per miner.

Q: What cooling does it need?
It is air-cooled with fans moving about 350 CFM. Keep the intake air between −5 and +35 °C and give the room good ventilation and dust filtering; no water loop or immersion tank is needed.

Q: What is the difference between the M70S and the M70?
The M70S is the more efficient version: 13.5 J/TH and 226–258 TH/s against 14.5 J/TH and 214–236 TH/s for the M70, in the same chassis and power range (3140–3500 W).
